myf & grant's excellent adventure!

Ireland

Howdy Folks,
Last time we left you we were preparing for our whirl wind two day drive around Scotland. So off we went, commandeering Ryan and Leanne’s ‘Bote’ (Ford Transit van-spanish for boat), armed with a road map and Myf’s razor sharp navigational skills, we hit the road - destination - lovely Loch Lommond.

Scotland

G’day folk’s, We have made it as far as Scotland now since our last newsletter and are truly knackered at the present, mostly due to a huge pub crawl of Glasgow last night and one just as big of Edinburgh two nights previous!

Glastonbury nearly killed us...

25.06.07
We are sitting in a YHA at the moment in a little town in south west England named Street, just outside of Glastonbury, the home of the legendary Glastonbury music festival which came to a conclusion last night after a week of rock ‘n’ roll ecstasy, or so you would be led to believe, but more about that later.
The last week was all smooth sailing, the gig @ the Half Moon in Putney, London was a good one, a healthy attendance of locals and Aussie ex-pats all sympathetic and receptive to the workings of the Lang.

Ye Olde London Town

Well here we are in sunny England enjoying the lovely summer rain. I think they actually believe its hot over here if it gets above 20 degrees C!
We are on a tiny little island called Tags Island where Jeff is doing a interview for a BBC radio program which is recorded on a beautiful little house boat on the Thames.

We arrived last week from Rome and did a couple of days in an Earls Court backpackers where you wouldn’t know if you were in the uk or oz from all the aussie backpackers around.
